48-hour fixed-scope engagement

How an engagement works

The standard benchmark is intentionally narrow: one target contract family, a verified public peer set, observed outcomes and a source-linked factual record. No data-room access is required for the standard scope.

Standard scope

What you provide

  • Target company / provider
  • Decision or question being reviewed
  • Known agreement date or filing, if available
  • Any public peers you want considered

The standard engagement does not require confidential client documents or credentials.

What you receive

  • 1-page decision evidence summary
  • Current contract / amendment ledger
  • 5–7 verified primary comparables
  • Scope-normalized economics and contract terms
  • Relevant renegotiation / exit / litigation controls
  • Source ledger, unknowns and non-comparability notes

Workflow

1
Conflict / scope check.
We confirm the target, economic parties and intended use, and disclose any known relationship that could affect independence.
2
Current-version verification.
Executed agreement, amendments / restatements, latest issuer disclosures and termination status are reconciled before benchmarking.
3
Peer screening and normalization.
Candidate agreements are screened by role / scope before deep comparison. Unlike roles are not averaged into a single market rate.
4
Outcome review.
Where public evidence exists, we capture renegotiations, internalizations, replacements, terminations, settlements and litigation.
5
QA and delivery.
Currentness, peer logic, formulas, material factual claims and links receive a final check. One revision is included in the founding scope.

Data and security posture

  • Public-source by default. SEC filings, executed public agreements, issuer disclosures and attributable public materials.
  • No client system access required. No mailbox, data room or internal document access is needed for the standard product.
  • No tracking on this site. The static site uses no analytics, cookies, tracking pixels or JavaScript dependencies.
  • No privilege promise. If counsel retains the service for a matter, privilege / work-product treatment is for counsel to determine; the product itself is factual public-source research.
